FRONT AND BACK office Medical Assistant/

We are seeking upbeat, highly motivated individuals to join our team

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

*Greet and direct patients and visitors
*Patient INSURANCE verification

* Patient registration/check-out
*Enter patient data into the registration system
*Collect co-payments and deductibles
*Reconcile daily cash report
*Schedule patient appointments
*Answer telephone and respond to inquiry, direct caller to appropriate personnel or initiate a triage email for response by medical personnel
*Maintain supplies and cleanliness of front office
*Ensure maintenance of patient confidentiality
*Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills in the performance of work assignments and duties
*Document patient's height, weight, temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure
*Review and record medical history including current medications
*Perform phlebotomy and basic laboratory tests; prepare specimens for transport to laboratory
*Administer injections
*Assist in minor procedures
*Review physician orders, lab requests or follow-up needs with patients
*Maintain supplies and cleanliness of examination rooms
*Ensure maintenance of patient confidentiality
*Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills in the performance of work assignments and duties

COVID testing

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Benefits:

• Paid time off

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Medical Office Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Vital Signs Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• EMR Systems: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
