Purpose of the Position:

• Execute high-quality static and video content optimized for social distribution for 7 & 8 figure clientele. Content types include but are not limited to, podcast edits, POV experience, short videos, sizzle reels, animations, motion graphics, broll and illustrations, video templates, long-form videos, templated static graphics and more.
• Support the team with long term and quick turn client asks
• Contribute and work as part of a fast-paced team by adapting to necessary tools and roles within the Creative Department, including traveling on-site to support live editing for productions
• Edit short-form social video content from existing library of shared folders for a social audience
• Add audio and caption overlay - using CAPCUT and ADOBE PREMIER
• Bonus: strong copywriter in writing captions for Instagram & TikTok

About You

You love creating and editing Reels/TikTok videos from b-rolls to podcast edits and more. Obsessed with the latest social media trends and knows how to create video that stands out in-feed.

You Have

• 1-2 years of proven experience creating compelling, shareable videos or other viral content for yourself, clients or agency work
• Experience with video editing on CapCut, Adobe premier
• Extremely knowledgeable about social platforms TikTok, Instagram and YouTube and the current trends
• Genuine interest in what makes content shareable and viral
• Expert at freelance time management and meeting deadlines
• Feel right at home on the social media platforms and you're active on Insta and TikTok
• You're great at balancing a lot of tasks at once and adaptable as all get out. You're super organized. You. Don't. Forget. Stuff.
• You're a fantastic proofreader and editor - nothing slips by you and you make everything better.
• Ability to work both independently
• Ability to manage multiple projects throughout all stages of production
• Ability to give and receive constructive criticism
• A competitive drive with a positive, curious and collaborative disposition (no haters!)
• An enthusiasm for pitching new ideas and concepts

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Irvine, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Final Cut Pro: 1 year (Preferred)
• Adobe Photoshop: 1 year (Required)
