Veterinary Receptionist Responsibilities

• Operate a multi-line phone system
• Hospital upkeep/Lobby cleanliness
• Respond to client requests as needed
• Check clients in and out
• Handle all in clinic transactions
• Perform cash out procedure
• General organization and file upkeep
• Schedule appointments and maintain organization within Practice Management Software
• Manage email and other client interface platforms when applicable
• Ensure every client has an exceptional first and last interaction

Veterinary Receptionist Requirements

• Prior receptionist experience and/or prior veterinary experience strongly preferred
