JOB DESCRIPTION

Tutor Doctor Santa Monica is a boutique tutoring company that is seeking fantastic math and science tutors that can provide academic tutoring and/or academic coaching for 5th through 12th grade.

We provide private in-home tutoring to the Santa Monica, Brentwood, Culver City, Westchester areas and we're looking for candidates with a solid math foundation and a passion for teaching students to strive and excel in their own math skills.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced tutor and/or teacher who must be able to adapt to different learning styles. We want our tutors to have the integrity and knowledge to push students to excel beyond expectations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 2 years teaching/tutoring experience required
• College grad, upper level college student, and professional only. Teaching credentials is a plus.
• Great personality with the ability to build rapport with students and parents
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to create lesson plans
• Reliable Transportation
• Access to the internet, a computer, and/or a smartphone

COMPENSATION:

Standard Academic Tutoring $24/hr - $30/hr

AP Subjects and Test Prep: $30/hr - $40/hr

LOCAL APPLICANTS ONLY- Due to travel to student homes, we only accept candidates who live or work within a 10 miles of the areas listed above.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
