Responsibilities:
The Surgical Scrub Technician serves as cardiovascular scrub assistant on all procedures working closely with the physicians and direct care staff communicating pertinent patient information to provide patient focused care.
Essential Functions:
- Actively participates in administering patient care within the scope of their practice.
- Able to assist each patient to provide patient focused care throughout the focused care continuum.
- Operates all equipment efficiently in the department to include anesthesia machines, computer equipment utilized in the department within the scope of practice.
- Acts as a resource to all staff including nurses, surgical technologists, technicians, and all other departments requiring assistance.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of accredited Scrub technician program preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Current BLS required.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of continuous CV Surgery experience preferred

Working Knowledge: Able to assist and scrub, at a proficient level, all procedures related to the department in both acute and stable patients.
