U.S. Data Security (“USDS”) is a standalone department of TikTok in the U.S. This new security-first division was created to bring heightened focus and governance to our data protection policies and content assurance protocols to keep U.S. users safe. Our focus is on providing oversight and protection of the TikTok platform and user data in the U.S., so millions of Americans can continue turning to TikTok to learn something new, earn a living, express themselves creatively, or be entertained. The teams within USDS that deliver on this commitment daily span Trust & Safety, Security & Privacy, Engineering, User & Product Ops, Corporate Functions and more.
The mission of our USDS Finance and Payment Teams is to handle sensitive data on behalf of the TikTok ecosystem, and to help USDS operate independently as an integrated business partner by providing trusted, relevant, and insightful information for decision making. We are looking for candidates who are energetic, highly self driven, and embrace challenges. The successful candidates will be able to think critically from the perspective of data security and creatively plan and execute effectively while collaborating with the wider TikTok product team. This is a full time position based in our Culver City or Mountain View office.
Responsibilities:
We rely on the PMO (Program Management) function to support strategic initiatives across the organization and drive operational efficiency and excellence. PMOs are global problem-solvers who are paired with senior leadership to turn complex challenges into action and outcomes. Our PMOs come from different backgrounds - marketing, operations, consulting, and everything in between.
This role will sit within our USDS Finance and Payment teams and report directly into the Head of Finance and Payments. We are looking for a proactive, detail oriented partner to help drive key initiatives and scale team-wide processes. As a PMO on the team, you'll help leadership streamline communication and best practices and act as a liaison to other PMOs, sharing learnings and insights globally. This is the role for you if you are passionate about cross-functional collaboration, working globally and organizing important information. You will be expected to work proactively, take action on urgent priorities, and act with a high level of discretion when handling confidential information.
- Serve as liaison between senior team leadership and cross functional stakeholders regarding company projects, planning, and meetings.
- Assist leadership in documenting and communicating decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
- Improve current processes, tools, and systems and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency, communication, XFN collaboration, and productivity.
- Streamline team communication, meetings, and reporting internally and with partners.
- Anticipate needs and take initiative proactively. Own project management tasks and ensure plans are documented and stakeholders are informed accordingly.
- Drive constructing, prioritizing and aligning team OKRs based on annual plans and business goals. Own tracking on progress to ensure OKRs are being met.
- Own key team initiatives around measurement, global taskforces, and more.
- Organize information, manage spreadsheets, and develop ad hoc reports for the team.
- Deliver inputs for ongoing team reports (Bi-Weekly & Bi-Monthly) based on the team's focus and deliverables. Be a capable storyteller of how the team's work is impacting the business.
- Support full year and half year planning and drive alignment with wider team and discipline globally. Provide strategic guidance based on team and company goals as well as against industry standards.
- Support the team's budget planning and tracking.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business and other relevant fields.
- 8+ years of relevant experience with North America, including 3 years of experience in process management.
- Practical knowledge of IFRS and regional tax, ACCA or CPA is preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of scripting SQL, large data analysis, and statistical modeling.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on, detailed-oriented and self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to get into the detail also articulate findings to executive level.
- Proficient in Excel and other office applications. Proficient in data analytics tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with the concept of data security and current company (ROW or USDS) workflow is strongly desired.

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $110222 - $194222 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
