Job Description

Responsibilities:

Sentinel is seeking a Network Administrator to work with one of our partners based in New Mexico. You will be responsible for the network performance, security, reporting and road mapping its growth. You will work directly with the cross functional teams on projects, reporting and policy and procedure. This is a contract opportunity located in Fort Defiance, NM. This position requires the candidate work 8am-5pm MST to mirror their local hours of operation. This position can be remote while maintaining the local schedule but will require occassional travel to the location in New Mexico.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related IT Field
  • 5+ years of experience engineering and troubleshooting networking and telecommunications to include Cisco, Dell and Lenovo hardware
  • 3+ years of network security
  • Experience planning and improving network and system improvements including configuration and upgrades when applicable
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills to include tech users and non-tech users throughout the organization
  • Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures
  • The candidate must have a car, as this position requires local travel when visiting the location
  • A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
