Capstone is looking to add a Senior Management Accountant who will play a critical role in our mission to build a world-class Finance team. This team drives an understanding of our financial results and empowers decisions on the future direction of the Company.

You will work as part of our Management Accounting team, providing key assistance to the Head of Finance, Management Controller, SVP of FP&A and SVP of Tax.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Head of Finance by working closely with the Management Accounting team to be accountable for multiple aspects of Capstone's management company including three foreign subsidiaries and two general partner entities.
• Work on complex accounting projects, such as transfer pricing, and consolidations of various foreign entities
• Collaborate with the SVP of FP&A on month end reporting and cash management for all entities, including cash projections as well as monitoring & managing exposure to and hedging foreign currency, along with other ad-hoc reporting requests.
• Work closely with the SVP of Tax on Partner Allocations, entity level profit & loss splits and tax initiatives for the firm.
• Plan and oversee various automation projects to streamline workflows and drive process efficiencies.
• Review of regulatory and statutory reporting in local jurisdictions.
• Review of month end account reconciliations for various entities, as well as foreign subsidiary translation & consolidation
• Monitor multiple intercompany agreements, expense and revenue sharing calculations and transfer pricing policies.
• Support the annual audits for the management company's foreign subsidiaries.
• Other duties as assigned.

DESIRABLE CANDIDATES:

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Experience with and ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables at one time: plan, document and coordinate projects as well as ensuring the team makes continuous progress, hits planned deadlines and ultimately delivers on the results.
• Involvement in process improvement/overall quality control of procedures
• Project management/system implementation experience is a plus.
• Experience interacting with a tax team is a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VBA or Microsoft Power Suite) experience is a plus), and a high level of expertise in accounting software packages (familiarity with Great Plains is a plus)
• 5-8 years of experience with management company accounting (preferably from a fund)
• B.S. in Accounting or Finance, CPA certification is a plus.
• Ability to communicate efficiently and concisely (both written and verbal communication)
• Strong dedication
• Master's degree in mathematics, computer science, financial engineering or other technical discipline
• Some working experience in capital markets (optional)

BASE SALARY RANGE

$120,000 - $150,000 USD (depending on experience)
