We're looking for compassionate and reliable home health aides to help with activities of daily living for our patients in the Redford area. Our patients need help with household tasks, activities of daily living, and standby assistance. Home Health Aides are responsible for providing assistance to patients, reporting their in-home activities, and documenting observations of the patient's symptomology.

Requirements:
  • Provide health care services in patient's residences
  • Perform domestic and household tasks
  • Accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital
  • Assist with clients personal care activities
  • Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition
  • Maintain patients care records and document provided services
  • Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise
  • Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

Skills

  • Proven working experience as home health aide
  • Ability to monitor vital signs
  • Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
  • Proficiency in English
  • Caring and compassionate personality
  • Current CPR certificate
  • First Aid training
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High school degree
