Job Description

Part-time English teacher needed to teach grades 9-12 the principles of writing, research, critical thinking, analysis, interpretation, and communication in accordance with the established English curriculum. Teacher candidates must be well-versed in content to align lessons to the school’s core values and state standards set by the Ohio Department of Education. Candidates are expected to have appropriate classroom management, teaching strategies, and varied assessment methods to challenge and engage students.

Responsible for teaching English to students of different skill levels in grades 9-12.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required with necessary teaching credentials from the Ohio Department of Education.
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  Ability to maintain confidentiality in personal meetings and conversations with students.
  Display eagerness to continually grow in personal and professional competence.
  Employment contingent upon background checks and orientation courses required by the Diocese of Toledo
