Responsibilities:

• Assist with treatments and procedures ordered as assigned, under supervision and direction of provider.
• Perform select clinical duties.
• Interview patients, obtain vital signs, and record necessary information in patients' charts.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients.
• Other duties as assigned

Skills:

• Working experience as a medical assistant
• Knowledge of medical office systems and procedures
• Time management skills and ability to multitask
• Patient communication skills
• Knowledge of DocuTAP EMR system preferred but not required

Qualifications:

• Highschool Diploma or GED (required)
• Medical Assistant Certification
• 1 year experience (preferred)
• BLS certification
