The opportunity


Associate Account Manager is to represent Teva Biosimilar products, as part of the brand strategy within clinics and hospitals and collaborate with Teva’s IDN Key Account Management team in shared hospital accounts. Associate Account Manager is accountable for the implementation of product access strategies/tactics, pulling through GPO contract wins, gaining formulary access and driving volume through the Letter of Commitment (LOC) program in their geography. The ability to successfully network and penetrate key account targets while developing and cultivating long-term working relationships is critical.


ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Establish professional working relationships with key decision makers, support staff, and influencers within assigned customers
  • Execute brand strategy and tactics within the assigned customer segment, which may include pharmacists, physicians, nurses, billing, and other influential decision makers within territory
  • Monitor and effectively react to local market conditions that impact territory business
  • Have a deep understanding of regional/national payer coverage and territory GPO dynamics to ensure pull-through
  • Identify opportunities to drive business through the Letter of Commitment (LOC) program
  • Have a working knowledge of generic and brand pharmaceutical industry, contracting, distribution channels, pricing, chargebacks and institutional sales.
  • Comply with all Teva policies, procedures and code of business conduct.

This position will include the following territory:

  • Covers the state of Georgia
  • Major cities: Atlanta

Your experience and qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 1 year sales/account management and/or Healthcare experience
  • Ability to rapidly develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and decision makers
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a heavily matrixed environment across various functional teams
  • Ability to quickly adapt to change
  • Proficiency in Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and any other relevant applications
  • Documented track record of success
